Freedom from sexual exploitation for all in Aotearoa New Zealand
To mobilise volunteers and advocates to bring change. We do this in three main ways: by advocating for survivors of sexual exploitation, campaigning for change to legislation and social norms, and raising awareness of sexual exploitation through education and training.
You can read more about these areas on our Advocate With Us page.
The voices of survivors are crucial. It is survivors who have been saying for years that the laws around prostitution need to change. Their stories inspire us to do more to prevent their experiences from being repeated. We therefore prioritise the issues that survivors identify as critical.
Researchers and lawmakers are regularly releasing new findings about the impact of sexual exploitation and ways to reduce its effect. We follow international guidelines, such as advocating for the Equality Nordic Model and international standards for
online safety.
We believe that one individual can make a difference for their family, their community, and their nation. It only takes one person to call out abuse, break a cycle, or tell a story. We're committed to empowering individuals to use their voices to bring change.
We do not identify with any religious group, political party, or social movement. We advocate for everyone affected by sexual exploitation, regardless of gender, ethnicity, or sexuality. Our motivations are to reduce sexual exploitation because it harms valued individuals – not because of religious or political reasons.
